Alfa Romeo Brera - Build on 159 platform,same chassis but  framed in a much more rigid,aggressive,stylish sports coupe . New thing in Brera is asymmetric Thorsen differential which giving the rear wheels a little more torque than front wheels.

Brera's Test drive showed quite an ordinary start ,which does not fit in with the horsepower 260Bhp on 3.2L engines.After 80m/h  car is gaining a good acceleration speed,but braking from high speed carried out with delay,that can be a bit scary.

Brera fitted with 6-speed Selespeed semi-automatic gearbox is really responsive and reliable.And with a more active ride,quickly adapts and after a while continues to maintain high revs,in case,if the driver decides to continue the acceleration.Automatic Gearbox is so good that you dont want to use manual gears.

Have Nothing good to say about steering,of course at a decent speed Brera fits into the turns, but as shown by numerous reviews if you wish "to turn on" it would be hard because of the mass and soft suspension.

In the end of Test-Drive its obviously that Brera is not a sports car ,but a typical Coupe Gran Turismo.

And like Gran Turismo Alfa Romeo Brera model really transforms.
