Alfa GT was build on 156 platform.Some construction components was taken from 147 model.GT is front wheel drive car ,designed by Brertone - what, in principle, explains the predominance of the external concept 147.

Alfa Gt are equipped 5 and 6 speed mechanical gear box.

Gt interior has some similarity with 147 model,like front panel design.

When sitting in the driver's seat, it feels that everything is done for the convenience of the driver,steering wheel ,pedals,control knobs-All this does not create any difficulties when driving.

In 2006 was presented Alfa Romeo GT JTDM 1.9 Q2 with new Self-locking differential designed to increase the active safety of the car. Alfa self -locking differential was designed to  ensure maximum traction control under all driving conditions.The system is based on a mechanical differential with increased internal friction "Torsen".The role of the differential is distribute the tractive effort between the front wheels depending on the position of the lever.In combination with the unique lever of the independent front suspension  system provides a particularly effective dynamic control of the car.
